During your appointment, Dr. Pumarola will ask questions to help understand your problem and medical history. He may also look in your ears, nose or throat and discuss the results of any tests. If further tests are needed, our team will help you organise these.

Please bring with you to your appointment if you have any of the following:

​

• Referral letter from GP or letters from previous specialists (e.g. paediatricians)

• Details of any previous surgeries

• Results from any blood tests, hearing tests or imaging (scans)

• List of any medications (including over-the-counter medicines, e.g. nasal sprays)

• Private health insurance details

Visiting with children

We understand that coming to see a specialist can be a stressful time for patients, especially if you are bringing young children or infants to see Dr Pumarola. Bringing a few toys or snacks may help kids to feel at home while we prepare for their appointment or discuss their results with you.

Our staff are very sensitive to the needs of all our patients, and young children especially. Our aim is for every patient and every family to feel welcome and supported under our care. We welcome you to ask questions so we can work together to address any concerns.
